As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are proud to introduce our 2024 Celebration 100% French Colombard, a wine that holds deep personal significance for our owners, Marc and Marta Chas.
A Wine Inspired by a Love Story
When Marc and Marta first dreamed of entering the wine industry, they traveled to Napa Valley to explore the world of winemaking. It was there that Marta fell in love with Peju’s Carnival, a beautifully crisp and refreshing white wine. That moment of discovery planted the seed for what would later become Barons Creek Vineyards. Now, a decade into this incredible journey, Marc felt it was time to create a wine that truly embodied the spirit of their beginning-a wine dedicated to Marta.
The Wine: 2024 Celebration a 100% French Colombard
Crafted from premium grapes sourced from the Russian River Valley, California, our 100% French Colombard is a vibrant, expressive white wine that delivers a refreshing and sophisticated experience.
Tasting Notes
Aromas: Bright and crisp with tropical notes of green apple, sweet melon, peach, and honeydew.
Flavors: Light-bodied yet well-balanced, with medium to high acidity and a dry, elegant profile. Expect flavors of tropical fruit, lemon zest, and minerality, finishing with hints of apricot, melon, peach, pear, and guava.
ABV: 13.7%
Serving Temperature: Best enjoyed chilled between 45-55°F

The 2024 Celebration French Colombard is a seafood lover’s dream, pairing effortlessly with fresh oysters, sushi, delicate white fish, mussels, clam, crab legs, and scallops. It also complements lighter poultry dishes such as spicy chicken drums and fresh microgreen salads.
What to Avoid: This wine’s crisp, refreshing acidity does not pair well with heavy, rich dishes like roasted beef stew, thick pasta sauces, or smoked meats.
The Winemaker: Caroline Davis
Bringing this special wine to life is Caroline Davis, an incredibly talented winemaker from Pisoni, where we sourced the grapes for this wine. Caroline’s passion for science began in childhood with a love for space and astronomy. While studying Biology at Pomona College, she discovered the world of winemaking, which led her to pursue a Master’s in Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis. Today, as a leading force at Pisoni, Caroline manages client relations, laboratory innovation, and large-scale logistics with expertise and precision. We are honored to collaborate with her on this exceptional release.
