Born in the scenic Hudson River Valley of New York, Barbara Fontaine-White brings landscapes to life through a deeply tactile approach. Her work explores the connection between place and emotion using cold wax medium, paint sticks, pastels, and charcoal to build richly layered pieces.
This August, her solo exhibition features breathtaking scenes from Glacier National Park, Kauai, and the American Southwest—each painted as a personal interaction with the land.
